Why go for dim sum when your hungover and tired this Sunday? This incredibly easy dish will have you in your PJs all day.

Yields1 Serving
Prep Time30 minsCook Time7 minsTotal Time37 mins

 1 kg shrimp
 1 package of wonton wrappers
 1 tbsp corn starch
 2 eggs (egg whites only)
 1 ½ tbsp minced garlic
 1 tbsp shredded ginger
 1 tbsp soy sauce
 1 ½ tbsp sesame oil
 1 tsp pepper
 1 tsp paprika
 1 tsp lemon zest
 ¼ cup green onions

1

Dice the shrimp up. You can use a blender to do a rough blend as well if you like. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites and corn starch. Add the chopped shrimp to the bowl and mix. Add in the rest of the ingredients, mix well and set aside.

2

Place a small amount of the shrimp paste into the wonton wrapper. Here is a good video I used to learn how to fold them! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CrjFoOddNk8

3

Once folded, put into your steamer and cook for 6-7 minutes! As shown above, there is a small amount of water in the pan to allow it to steam and do not forget to oil the bottom of the steamer before placing the wontons in them to avoid them from sticking. Delicious and easy. Enjoy.
