Use these tuna patties in your rice bowls, wraps or as a burger! Healthy, easy and quick.
Drain all water from the tuna cans. Combine the tuna and all ingredients into a bowl. Mix well with a fork and form patties. You should be able to make 5 patties. I air fried these for 10 minutes total on 400 degrees in my Ninja air fryer. You can pan fry them for 5 minutes each side as well over medium high heat with some oil or even bake them if you like! Tutorial video can be found on my Instagram.
Bring the broth or water to a boil in a small saucepan. Remember, the broth is what gives it flavour, so if you use water then maybe add some more spices and seasonings in. You can also saute garlic and onion in the sauce pan before adding in the water and quinoa.
Once the broth or water starts to boil, add in the quinoa. Allow it cook on medium low heat. When it is halfway done, add in all the spices and seasonings. I'm not a big fan of quinoa which is why I use all the spices to give it more flavour.
Once done, plate into a bowl and add your toppings! I added avocado, shirataki mushrooms and broccoli! If I had tomatoes I would have added those in as well. I tend to make use of whatever produce I have left in my fridge instead of wasting them and that's how I brainstorm and come up with new dishes. Enjoy!
