This tender and juicy lamb leg will leave you drooling for more. Air fryer highly recommended!
As you can see that for this recipe there is no measurement on the ingredients and that is because you can measure everything with your heart! Just don't use more oil than butter. The oil is only meant to prevent the butter from burning! And do not go easy on the butter, the purpose of using alot is to ensure the lamb does not dry out and is tender and juicy!
For this boneless lamb leg, I used my Ninja air fryer and cooked it on 350 for 8 minutes. After one side was done, I flipped it and cooked the other side for about 10 minutes on 400. Since it was so small, it did not take a long time at all. It really depends on the type of air fryer you use and how large the lamb is, which is why I always recommend starting with lower heat and then increasing it to high heat for the last bit. I also ALWAYS recommend doing small increments with your time for air fryers. It can be tricky but you really have to play around with it. I was able to master cooking everything nicely in the air fryer fairly quickly just by doing small increments with time and using high heat for the ending of the cooking process.
As you can see in the image below, I used 2 large lamb legs. I honestly wing everything I cook because you can really use as much salt or garlic as you want but ensure you use enough butter because this will keep the lamb tender and juicy! These two boneless lamb leg pieces took about 60 minutes to cook on the highest heat in my parents air fryer oven.
After you marinade your lamb, let it sit for at least 30 minutes or so. You can see the rack of lamb below was marinated the same way, with lots of butter! I cooked this one in an oven as it was very large and I did 350 for 30 minutes and then 20 minutes on 400.
Turned out perfect!
I LOVE truffle oil so I always add that on top. I did do it in the cooking process but it burns, so don't do that. ENJOY!
