The crispiest tofu you will ever make for your rice bowl or an appetizer for your guests like I did! Simple and healthy.
Cut the tofu into cubes. You have to soak the moisture out of the tofu in order for it to get crispy. Pat the cubes of tofu dry with paper towel. You may have to cover the tofu with paper towel and put something heavy like a big dish on top of it for 10-20 minutes to get the moisture out.
After soaking the moisture out, coat the cubes with corn starch. Make sure each cube is coated nicely and then drizzle with olive oil.
Air fry them on 400 for 5 minutes. I ALWAYS recommend small increments to ensure they do not get burnt. Mine took a total of 20 minutes because I did not have enough corn starch. Yours should only take 10-15 minutes to get crispy.
For the sauce, add all ingredients together in a bowl and mix it well. Toss all over the tofu mix. Top off with sesame seeds (I forgot to) and green onions. Enjoy!
